Has anyone ever bolted on a manual flywheel from a pre 1990 6.2 on their 6.5?

I have a 1983 6.2 with a NV4500 manual tranny behind it.

I'd like to replace the 6.2 with a 1994 6.5 and keep the original flywheel/clutch setup. I was curious if the 6.2's manual flywheel can be used on a 6.5?

I know on gassers the bolt up on the crank changed when they went from a 2 piece rear main seal to a one piece. I wonder if it's the same way with the diesels?

Bolt pattern is different between 1-piece and 2-piece rear main seals.

The 6.2 flywheel will work well on a 6.5, as a matter of fact, GM started using the exact same part number flywheel as the early 6.2's starting in 1998. This is fact, been there and done it.
