Need some help guys. This happened twice this weekend. Right after I turn the motor off it acts like it still wants to run for a second or so, its kind of rough sounding, shakes the truck. Hasn't happened before, even my wife noticed. Motor is stock.
Thanks
Wonder if a leaking injector might cause this or a bad turbo leaking oil from the seal. You better have it looked at either way. A bad turbo could cause uncontrolled run.

I'm with Hoot. Running after the key is off is a no-no. Have it checked!

When a gas engine keeps running after the ignition is off it's called dieseling, so if a diesel engine keeps running after the ignition is off is it called gassing?......Things that make you go Hmmmm.
I vote for the leaking injector(s). My father-in-law had a small Kubota tractor explode a fuel pump solenoid and he couldn't shut the diesel engine down. He finally had to disconnet the fuel line. I'd hate to have to do that with a DMAX....while it's runnin' Gettin' it checked is good advice.

Thanks for your impute. I guess it is time for a checkup with the Dealership. First problem I have had with this truck. Maybe this will be painless. Still an awesome piece of machinery though.:D
