Anybody having problems with either? I have a leak somewhere on either the brake booster or the master cylinder and can't determine which side the problem is on. I'm not loosing fluid to the point where I have to add to either the brake reservoir or the power steering reservoir continually. Does anyone know what symptoms may occur with either the brake booster going bad or the master cylinder doing the same? Thanks

Red Fuel, I had 2 hydro-boosts changed on my truck because of leaking. Look inside of the firewall and see if a trickle of power steering fluid is present. That would be a dead give away.
The only thing I can recommend is to keep an eye on the power steering reservoir and master cyclinder.
Good luck and let us know what you find.

I had my master cylinder and hydro booster changed also due to leaking.
Also changed both of the hi pressure hoses while I was at it.
Happened at about 80k and the leak got bad enough at 120k for me to change it.
PS fluid was running down the firewall and all over the frame.

Be carefull, there have been a couple of guys who had a fire start from fluid dripping onto the exaust manifold, burned everything under the hood.
Here's something about fluid leak: http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24064
Here's the post about the fire, with pictures: http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29183&highlight=electrical+fire
