Did GM make BLACK Air Dams for 01-02 chevys? I know they did with 03 and up models.

I would paint mine, but I've got a friend who is painting one right now, and said its been a pain in the ass. So I figured I would see if GM made black ones or not, DOES ANYBODY KNOW?

Make sure you sand it before you paint it. I have been looking online for you, but all I have found is a black front bumper on Amazon that looks like a custom Chevy SS bumper, but for a 99-02 Chevy.

I think the did in 06 on the tahoe and suburban, and it will fit.

Thats right, I forgot about that. Its the LTZ front valance. I just don't know what the part number is...

Hmmm... didnt think about the Tahoes. But dont the tahoes have a little more plastic towards the bottom because they sat lower than the trucks?

I guess its just better for me to take it to a body shop and have it painted if i really want it

i just got a z71 piece and it was grey. I picked up some matte black plastic fusion paint and gave it a good coat. the plastic fusion paint soaks into the plastic and looks great. matches the grill, mirrors and upper bumper piece great. I'll get pictures in a few days.
