It's a very nice tire for the money, tread wear is of course pro-rated. I've sold about a dozen sets so far and everyone loves them in all types of situations(rain, snow, light mud, loose dirt,ect.). The tread does seem to wear very well also as long as they are taken care of(rotated, tire pressure, and vehicle alignment). I have one customer pushing 15,000 miles on his 305's and they still look new, very little wear.

I was running a set of 305/70/16's on my PSD before I sold it. I had 14K miles on them and they still looked new. They worked great on the snow packed roads here in Denver and did well in the light off roading I did. They were also quiet on the highway and held the road well. I hauled 4000 lbs of brick in my truck one time and the tires did not squat (I was pleasantly surprised). I plan on putting a set of Pro-Comp AT's on my GMC when the time for tires comes.

As a side note: I purchased the tires when 4 Wheel Parts Wharehouse was running a buy 3 get 1 free sale, a one day special of free labor (free mounting and balancing), and a "Poker chip" discount of 15% so I ended up with the set of four on the truck for $550ish. I am currently watching for similar deals and I will buy the tires and store them in the garage untill I am ready to have them installed.

I had a set on my truck and now am goin to bfg's for more tread life I got about 35k out of mine 305's, but I am extremly hard on mine on the farm. I also have a friend that has them on a dodge in the 35s and was at about 12k miles and they were half wore out and he never pulls anything and just easys around. Just my .02

i've been through two sets of Pro Comp at's both sets at about 10k miles each. they said they would only warranty the first set. the centers wore bad on the first set so the next set i kept the psi at 40. i pull a 5,000 pound trailor daily stop and go. i will say that the tires have excellent wet weather traction, from new to wore out. don't know what i will go with next though. i want to try MT's new baja radial ATZ but it's not offered in 17"
