Hello all! I entered the diesel world a couple weeks ago when I bought an '83 6.2l Suburban. Instead of taking my time getting to know diesels, I dove right in. The original engine was bad so I replaced it with a Humvee 6.2l. I'm installing a Banks turbo kit this weekend. For the most part everything has went well. I have a power steering/brake boost issue that I believe a new P/S pump will cure. Oh and when I swapped out the injector pump, I forgot the gasket. How big of an issue is that? So far I love the truck as do my wife and son. We bought it so we can go camping, take whatever we'd like and tow our '73 jeep. I've gotten alot of good info from Diesel Place, look forward to getting more and maybe even being able to help someone else out.
