I am working on my chain of events to get me to a Cognito 7-9 which will be the last thing I do. (3-6 months) Before that I want to do my exhaust, EFI, etc.. to have the extra performance when the lift is added.
However I wouldn't mind going ahead and adding some wheels now and then just stepping up the tire size once the lift is added. I want to end up at 35's
So my question is, can I run 33" on 20" with a Cognito Leveling Kit. If so, once I move to the lift I assume everything from the level would move over just fine correct?
If I do the level now with new shocks would I still be able to use those shocks on the lift, or would I need longer shocks then?
Thanks for the help...

Why would you spend the $$ on a leveling kit and 33's if you are going to 8 inches and 35's in 6 months? You could almost do a full trans for that money.

Yes you can do a leveling kit on a 33" (285/55r20) with a 20x9 and 5" bs and a fender mod and then later do the lift but yes its best to do what you want all at once if you are really trying to get to that goal. If you are unsure then yes you can take steps.

Thanks Nick. I sent you a PM on some other stuff. I actually have a set of 33's off my Yukon and was considering picking up the wheels (that I pm'ed you about) and adding the leveling kit to get them on, as I would want the UCA for the lift anyway.
What about the shocks?

I had been in the shop playing with some new product we finaly got the past 2 weeks so I am behind alittle but I will check it out and get back to you.
Shocks will not be the same. Over all if you want the best bang for the buck wait and get the money together for your over all set up you want to be on so you don't over lap the product you will need to change if you are that close to doing it. Even if I told you yea, yea, yea at one point you will realize you are not that far away if you say 6 months and wait to do it all anyways so I don't want you to go to fast and then feel you are buying more than you need, now if it was a year away or a possibility you may not even fully lift it then sure build in stages.
