Another new forum member and LLY owner here, picked the truck up last
Wednesday. Been lurking around here for general information, this is a great
forum, I've learned a lot! Just finished installing a MBRP dual exhaust today.
Just did the cat-back, may do the kitty later. Love the way it sounds and
looks but I really like freeing up thd exhaust! Also thinking on adding a Racor
fuel filtration unit in front of the stock (comments welcome)!

With 767 miles on her, I changed the oil & filter (Rotella for now), and changed
the front/rear diff fluids with Amsoil. Will change the filter on the Allison soon
too! May do the air filter, but what I've read so far, the stock filter is hard
too beat. I've already ordered Moto Metal wheels (http://www.superbuytires.com/images/wheels/Moto+MetalType950.JPG)and nerf bars. This babys
going to be towing a 14,000pd. fifth wheel (called a 5er right?), I'm not going
to do many perf mods. I hooked up the 5er at about 550 miles and towed it
about 200 miles, man this baby can pull!

Great forum, happy to be here! :D

Welcome and congrats! I have an 05 too and I love it! I tow a 10,000 5er with no problems at all even when I am on level 0 of the Juice. i just turned 17,000 on it and it has totaly improved in power, there is no doubt about it! So if you love it now you have something to look forward to in about 10-15K miles. !!!!

I have no regrets about adding my Racor filter. It's a nice system with the WIF sensor & the transparent bottom & drain (& the heater too, if you need it).

Seventeen months & 95k+ miles on my Duramax now, & I have no regrets about buying it, either.

Welcome,

Have a look at Nicks fuel filtration system while your at it!!!

www.nicktane.com very easy to maintain and install. Good luck

Also a MikeL. tranny cooler might be in order for you when you have some extra $$$$

+++++AND AND AND finger stick, egr blocker plate, these will become synonimous as you explore the forum
