Had a request to post up pics of our starter bracket, made to clear the plug for block heater installed on passenger side of block. Have two block heaters, and know that the starter bracket is very important to have installed and tight.

We just made it out of bed frame rails (1.5"x1.5"x 5/32"), painted orange to remind us to verify it and the bolts are there and tight.....:D

I'm happy to know my truck is the only one displaying copious amounts of rust from the underside ;)

I have a direct drive starter, but I am sure I can make a similar bracket to miss the block heater plug.
