Just got my Peterson's 4wheel mag a couple days ago and there is a spread on this guy's Avalanch 2500 4x4. I believe it has the 8.1 because I saw an Allison underneath. They had a company called Baker motorsports in Huntington Beach CA build new upper/lower control arms, Sway-Away coilover shocks, Superior axle extended CV's, new end links and where the torsion bars went they put in a couple of stabilizer bars. I guess the guy airs his truck alot and the torsion bar set up wasn't up for the challenge. Looks sweet. Hopefully this sparks a trend for coilover setups that will be out there soon. I'm sure it would fit any 2500HD 4x4.

You can check out www.rockkrawler.com (http://www.rockkrawler.com), they sell a kit for the avalanche as well. They showed a 2500HD coilover conversion kit on their website at the time of the SEMA show, but it disappeared and hasn't been seen or heard of since. I have been watching for such a lift to come out since buying my truck.
