I'm looking to buy one of the following double din unit for my silverado (GPS/DVD viewing for headrest). Does anyone have any suggestions? I want to also still utilize my steering controls.

Kenwood (great unit) but have to buy a seperate GPS unit and this gets expensive.

Eclipse: Kids can't watch a DVD, while I'm messing with the GPS.

Pioneer D1: Same problem with the GPS and DVD viewing at the same time.

I have seen good prices on these units thru EBAY, however the warrenty is not from the manufacture and thru the website business. Is this an illegal import unit or what?:confused:

Go with the D1 and some headrests with the built in player....

I heard that the built-in DVD player/monitor in the headrest have a problem over-heating. I know Audiovox makes these units anyone else?

this has me interested. So you can watch DVD's on that screen right. Can you hook up a PS2 to it? Is there anything else you will need with that Pioneer to watch DVD's and have GPS?

I'm running the Eclipse AVN unit with GPS & rear view camera and love it. I'm going to be adding some head rest monitors also soon and I'll get the ones with a built in DVD player. I haven't heard any problems of them over heating.

Did you get the eclipse AVN 35 or the new AVN 95? The 95 has the 30 gig hardrive w/ GPS. I want to consider the eclipse I just can't find a lot of information on the units.
