Not real sure where I should have put this so... I got my horns I just need to get tank and I think maybe a bigger compressor. Wondering how big of tank are all you guys running. I want one big enough that I wont drain it all out in 1 blow and have to wait minutes to build back up.

I was planning on using a 5 gallon tank. I'd like to fit a larger one if possible.

I have a 3 gallon tank and a Viair compressor but I can't figuure out a good place to mount the tank. I found a thread with a picture of a tank in the dually flare but my tank is shorter and fatter (like me!) so it won't fit. Any pics of where you mounted your tank is appreciated.

this past weekend, I just finished installing the the viair extreme duty kit which comes with a 2 gal tank and 2 compressors. I decided to remove the spare tire and hardware to place my tank and within the inner frame i was able to fit each compressor on each side. i also took out my lock and replaced it with the quick release adapter for connection to a air hose. As for constant 12v power, i was able to trace and connect to the trailer harness. I figured, since my truck is lifted, why have a spare anyway, setup performs and looks great in placement..Now im able to pretty much run any air tool, fill my airbags anytime, use the the blowwgun after washing the truck...great accessory

I've got a 3 gal tank and 2 viair compressors mounted inside the left frame rail behind the transmission and transfer case. I built my own bracket for them and tucked them in where there was a couple of feet of open space. I've got some photos in my garage. I can get 4-5 good long blows before the sound starts dropping off, but with the 2 compressors, it only take a minute of two for the air to build back up.
