:help2: I am picking up my new '05 2500HD D/max tomorrow. I am trying to figure out what toys I should plan on buying.
I know I will do a lift, rims and tires. (6 inch with something around 35' muds) That is easy, I am old school on lifts, it is this diesel thing that I am new at.
I know I want an exhaust, but which one? I have been reading and now my head hurts. :eek: Too much conflicting info! I do not want it to be a drag car, I want to hear my radio when I drive. I just want it to breath better and sound beefy if I put my foot in it. What are your thoughts?
Also, what other stuff should I look into. Like I said, I don't want a drag car, that is why I bought a truck and not a pro-street '55.
Are the electronics/controlers good? Worth the money? I don't want to drop another $10k in goodies on this truck, it wasn't cheap and by the time the lift/tires is done that will be another $4k dropped.
Are there little things I should look at doing to take advantage of this diesel? I guess that is the key, I want to take advantage of what I paid for, I don't want to redesign it or rebuild it.
