: Peeling "Chrome"

So I noticed today that I had a few very small bubbles forming on the "chrome" portion of my grille. After taking a closer look, I see that it's not a one-piece molded type plastic chrome but actually a "tape" that is glued over the plastic of the grille.

Bottom line: Now I have a bunch of this crappy "chrome" tape flaking off and my grille absolutely looks like ****.

Warranty certainly should cover it, but will they?! I'm afraid they're going to call it carwash damage, etc... Anybody else have the same problem?

i have had it on some of my older trucks. I never took it to a dealer tho. Your right, it sucks.

Sand it all down and color match it to the truck. Looks sweet.

They should cover it, just don't mention a pressure washer....
