Changed the fuel filter today in hope of gettin rid of the WIF light stayin on all the time, so afterwards i went and filled up and used an entire bottle of additive and on the way to town the light would flash on for a sec then go off it did this the whole way there anybody know whats goin on, surely i dont already have more water

Sure it is possible that you have water yet again if you filled with bad fuel.Water will be on the bottom of the tank and drawn first.Easiest way to find out is open the drain in the bottom of the filter and drain it off into a container.

I once filled up at a station with a above ground tank in my 6.5 and it took forever to get the water out.Any of those that have had a 6.5 could tell you what a bear that is as there is no drain,you mop it out!

If no slugs of water present you might have to remove the filter again and insure the float is sliding and working correctly.

I use to have an old 6.5 so i know how that was, i guess ill drain the filter and see what happens, thanks for the help
