I have a 2007 classic HD2500 6.6. You could probably tell by my name that I have some parts to sell :p Well I tried to post in the market place earlier to sell my 6.6 complete engine and allison transmission but the site tells me that I don't have permission. I haven't seen any info on this in any of the stickies or announcements. What do I have to do to be able to post in the for sale section?

Oh and I do have lots of big high res pics of the engine and transmission but I was going to wait until I can post in the for sale section to show them.

Thanks.

Try reading the Marketplace rules.....

http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/faq.php?faq=marketplace#faq_marketplace_rules

We require all users to have a minimum of twenty-five posts and a minimum one-month membership to post in the Market Place. This gives new users time to familiarize themselves with the forum, our members, and to build a reputation. Our forum software enforces this rule automatically and the staff is not able to make exceptions. Senseless posting anywhere on the forum to increase your post count is cause for permanent banning from the Market Place. A little useful participation in the technical forums will quickly gain you the ability to post in the Market Place. You can still browse the ads and contact ad owners privately; you just can't create your own ads.

Dang....a whole month? Well I'll have to find some other venue in the meantime. Craigslist wasn't doing so well so I thought this would be better but murphy's law seems to be in effect with me trying to sell these parts lol.

Thanks for the info.
