Hey everyone,
I just installed GM's Bedrug, GM Rail Protectors, GM Door Sill Shields, and GM Hide-A-Hook's.
My question is about the Hide A Hooks, have any of you had problems with warping on the rails because of pressure from the Hooks when in use?
The instructions say not to exceed 300 lbs of pressure, but that is hard to judge when tying down dirt bikes and such.
I noticed that the securing mechanism that goes inside the bed rail only grips on to two sides of the pockets, thus all the pressure is applied to those 2 points.
I just don't want to ruin my bed rails because of a "GM" approved accessory.
Info on any problems from any of these accessories is greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
