So, did a little research and found out there's a 2011 Gmc Seirra SLT with every option available in OKC oK. Me being the stand up guy I am, HAD to drive it! I have to say, if you want to talk about refinement- its all there! Stepped into it and put my foot on the brake put it in drive and grinned:D! The very first thing I noticed is- the throttle has alot more range of motion before it decides to go. It isn't press it half way and your in a rocket. It's press half way down and your to a smooth and firm acceleration. Then slowing down, GM has got the brakes down on the 2500s+ models now. It's now press the pedal down 1/8-/1/4 and inch and they're slowly but firms slow the truck down. No more of 3inchs or so of mushy pedals (Mind you I've done every maintenance options avail for my older brakes). I'd describe the pedal feel to a sports car, firm and there when you need them. Now the steering, more of a positive feel, lock to lock is easier and achieved a lot smoother. Gone of the days of dead like steering at a stop! All the together if just feels right, not the pinkie steering of a dodge, but the steering of a man, I just feels right man, just feels right!!! You'll understand when you step into the truck what I mean. The ride, I've heard some "questionable comments" about the heavier duty suspension and the ride. I have to tell everyone, its like riding in a Tahoe to me(Mind you the one i tested had 20s too!). No bouncing around, no jaring, no back pain, just a ride at the end of the day the will leave you relaxed. Power!? ;) Can't forget that, oh its there! It WILL do every bit of 0-60 in 6-7secs with all that emission crap on it. Let her breath and I would give it high 5 really low 6s stock form. Idle is about as loud as a LMM but sitting in the cab at highway speeds and punching it is hardly intrusive. Downsides, I can't really give any besides the urea tank just doesn't look to "belong" where its sitting. It's very noticeable from the passenger side. Now out the door price with every options avail except the sliding rear window 59,500 is the lowest I could talk them too. For every option on the denali, walk out the door was 61,500(Had to be order) So I got a black on black :D!!

Haha, I'd almost guarantee even the most responsible individual with not buying things would be heavily tempted to get it if they test drove it!

So just don't test drive it ! Easier said than done!

Nice. What are you going to do with your built 08? Wouldn't happen to want to trade for a build 03 would you? Haha. Let us know how the new truck treats you.

Congrats on the truck! I'm loving mine. :) The only thing I don't like are the 18's. I was hoping they'd grow on me, but the wheels are just too small for my liking. I need to find someone that doesn't want their 20's. ;) I'm going to try my hardest to get the required 500 miles on it this weekend so I can hook up to the trailer. I've got a race to attend in 2 weeks!

I got 20's :) Not sure if i will keep them.......they have grown on me already....... soo i may be keeping them......... i do feel it needs more rubber than 265's on it though.........wheel looks proportionate, tire doesnt look tall enough....

IMHO

Going to get my miles on this weekend......... gets 10,000 trailer to i next weekend :)

enjoy it, i am impressed with its power, ride, handling, breaking..... Sawweeeet!!

Noooo man I am getting the 18's on mine, how long you think before aftermarket catches up wanna get a set of 17's with 285's on them, gonna take some before and after pics should get it monday. First thing is wheels, tires, bedliner, front rear bumper, winch, and headache rack. Think I may put the line-x on the lower quarter panel.
