i bought the feed the beast kit from walking j designs for the ds4 and now that i'm gonna be running a db2 i was wondering how hard it is to open up the ip inlet, any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I don't know exactly what you are doing but there are some pressures to consider.

Lift pump pressure: From the lift pump of course.

Transfer Pressure: Is where the fuel comes in the IP and pressure raises to transfer pressure.

Charging pressure: Pressure to the injectors.

Opening an inlet will not have an effect on transfer pressure.

So the "feed the beast" mod is only useful on the ds4 ip?

It would stand to reason that if the IP sees more pressure at the inlet, that the output pressure could increase. I doubt that it would be proportional, but it might be measurable.

I am not sure but it is originally done on DS4. You can ask it in the other forum where you find walking_j.
