I am now leaking from what I feel is the rear main seal. The fun never stops around here. Is this a common problem? How expensive of a repair is it? I changed oil last week and lubed all. I did notice that there was fresh oil dripping from the front of the tranny. I was able to tighten 1 bolt but the rest were tight. I noticed tonight that I had an area of @ 8" diameter. What gives?

Is this a warranty item then like I was reading in the LB7 topic? I am @97K now so I am cutting it close.

I have just bought 2005 I put 200 hundred miles leaking oil around the same area. Its back at the dealer and they told me that it was the shields that go to the turbo what ever that means. They said they had to oder a part, it has been four days.

My 03 had a leak at the sensor in the side of the oil pan. You sure that's not the problem? They dropped my oil pan, and resealed it all. NO problems since.

It was rear main and I paid $100 for the detuct. I hate going to the stealer, they ALWAYS find something new that needs to be fixed!
