: New DMax w4loc 07-15-2005, 06:36 PM i am picking up my new 2500HD :) on Saturday and will have the B&W Hitch installed next week. my question is how long do i need to wait to tow with it? I would add that you not use the cruise control for the first 500 miles,also. It is perfectly ok to drive the truck to 70-80 BUT NO C.C. Hade to drive mine 120 miles home on interstate road & that was the first thing they told me NOT to do. Some of these guys start changing fluids before they start towing. My $.02. Howard Majuba Max 07-16-2005, 12:32 PM i woudnt push it to hard the first 1500 miles or so we hooked up to ouers at 500 miles just took it it easy no big hills and vary the speed do not go over70 for a long time after 1500 miles just drive it | ||
