Ever since i installed the Airdog 2 and the PPE ported fuel rail fitting, my engine has a very noticeable clanking noise when i lay into the throttle. Any reason? or is something f'ed up...

What power are you running on your tuner? Have you tried to adjust the air dog? I am not familiar with that tuner. lack of fuel could cause the injectors to overwork and cause a knock. At the back of the air dog manual it says if you have a lack of fuel you will need to drill more holes in the pick up basket.

im running a +225 hp tune. I haven't really adjusted the airdog to much.

You might have to drill the basket out. Have you did a forum search?

i tried a couple searches, but came up with nothing. Just decided to throw up a post to see if anyone had a good explanation.

I would do a fuel pressure test and see how low it is dropping when you get into it. If you search air dog, there a couple forums on what other guys pressure are dropping to.
