I just put my tranny back in and when i go to start it it seems like something is draggin. Is there suppose to be some type of shim for my starter? It just dont turn over fast enough, my batteries were dead and i got them charging. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

yeah made sure everything was tight. It kinda seems like somethings holding it from turning over fast enough. Could I have put some bind somewhere when i put tranny in?

Remove the converter bolts, slide the converter back toward the transmission away from flywheel. Then see if it cranks over ok. If so, something in the tranny. If not, then have the starter tested, and check voltage drop at starter while it is cranking.

I figured out what was the problem. My torque converter isnt slide in all the way. is there any easy way to get it to slide all the way in. Im having a hell of a hard time tryin to get it to slide all the way in.

I just had the same thing. One of my grounds had a loose end, I had to re punch it onto the cable. Still no good. Changed batteries, no better. Dropped the started and found one bolt missing that held the solenoid in place, lol. Works great now.
