Since I did all the work to my truck, the best 1/8 mile time I've had was a 8.841 @ 72 mph. Granted the track was in terrible shape, and cars were breaking the tires loose halfway down the track and fishtailing. My truck launching from 10 lbs of boost pretty much burned out half way down the track. But still I thought it would be faster than that. I'm going to a nicer track tonight that has been finished with concrete now so hopefully I will hook better. Thanks.

How much does your winch weigh? Looking at your sig, the weight of the winch and your tires would be what I would change to improve my drag race ETs...unsprung weight such as large and heavy tires can have a large impact on your times.

The winch itself I think is 134 lbs. And that is not including the brushgaurd and everything else. I would safely guess the whole setup is 300 lbs.

All things being equal...just the 300 pounds would be worth more than 0.10 ET in the 1/8th mile.

Even if the track is slick, your mph should be higher than 72. I was running 9.30 at 75 in my 2wd dually with a 2.08 60 ft. All I had was the Predator at 120, no weight reduction, with a B&W hitch under the bed.

Put it in 4 wheel drive.Sorry I did'nt look at your time and though with your trap speed you were in 2wd. Now I see you were runing the 1/8th.
