To the point, is 3.5k tongue weight and 22k trailer weight too much for these trucks on a gooseneck? Hitch itself is rated for 7500 tongue/30000 trailer, so I'm not worried about it.

Some people may be concerned about towing this heavy with H2's, but I've read conflicting reports on TDP. No one has stated "HEY I BROKE AN H2 TODAY!!". Of course, if I'm blowing the rim's rating by 25% or more, I'd put the OEM's back on when towing.

BTW, I am not trying to dredge up the ol' H2 debate. Just curious about who's towed this much with a 2500HD D/A before.

EDIT: Typo on original Tongue weight.

That's pretty darn heavy for our trucks. I'd most be worried about rim/tire capacity, even with the stockers your a good bit over. As long as you have good brakes on the trailer and take it easy???? I can't say much, I'm over with what's in my sig too, but at least I upgraded the rims and tires to match and added airbags too. Also, it wouldn't pull worth a sh*t with the 315's on anyway.
