Hey guy,

I just received my 05 duramax last week and I'm looking for gauges. Will adding any gauges give me any warranty issues what so ever with the stealer or GM? I would like to just get the edge with monitor but I'm not sure how easy it would be to take the whole system out of the truck to go to the stealer.

How do you get around egt probe that you need to install with the edge or any gauge for that matter? Thanks for the help.

Turbobruce,

No matter what pyro you select it will require you to drill the manifold, gauges do not have any warranty issues that I have ever seen. At worst it would cause you to lose the warranty on the exhaust manifold. The Edge Juice/Attitude is one of the easiest to remove for warranty issues especially if you get one of our A pillar mounts for the Attitude, you will still have the thermocouple in the exhaust manifold, but if you remove it you can install a 79 cent pipe plug in the threaded hole and most techs will never see it. Call us if you have any questions we have all the Edge, Predator, Superchips, Bully Dog and van Aaken's in stock and will be glad to help you.

Thanks for the info Mark,

Just as soon as Predator fixes their high egt issues I will be in the market for one. BTW, is it safe on the tranny to run the 85hp level on the predator?

Turbobruce,

Yes you should be OK, just use good common sense and you'll be fine.
