Has anyone got an opinion (silly question) on the Perma-Cool Fuel Filter/Water Separator System sold by JC Whitney.

Generally speaking, I would steer clear of JC Whitney for something as important as your diesel's fuel system. Off road lights and other generic stuff is one thing. Part of the life's blood of your truck is another. Just my $.02.
