Need to obtain vaccum to run a exhaust brake, but my 93 doesnt have a vaccum pump. i want to buy the BDpower Exh Brake, says you need a vaccum to make it work, how can i obtain vaccum?

i have a 1997 working vac pump with mounting bracket
since diesels dont make vacuum like gassers you will need a pump
this pump operated my wastegate for the turbo which i deleted and installed a turbo master
you will have to go with a longer serp belt though
do you want the pump?

Check into the vacuum pump used on the early 6.2. It goes on top of the oil pump drive in much the same way that a gasser distributor sets. I don't know if it is possible to do this, but if trubornot's vacuum pump won't work this set up would be worth checking out.
