Hey guys, is anyone running this boost valve from PPE? http://www.pacificp.com/exhaust.htm#bivlb7
Just curious on it, especially for the safety issues involved, and any thoughts of the long-term wear and tear on the engine and turbo. Let me know.

That would be nice to get 10 more psi for $40. I have never seen this product before but find it hard to believe that it will provide 8-10 more psi

I wouldnt buy it but thats just me. Many cheap easy ways to increase your boost. I duno if its a fixed orfice type deal or a pop off type valve? Either way I would say no. There is some very good reading here on this type of thing, do a search. I may be able to pull up some interesting threads too if I get a second.....

it is just a small restriction device that goes into the wastgate line ,designed to fool the factory wastgate into seeing only your factory boost setting while in all reality your turbo is still building boost and putting it into the cylinders,it does work, however you cant adjust it. you would be better of with a bighead by Banks, much more adjustability, and the boost seems to spool up faster
