ok well i think i f****d up. my amp turn on lead is run off of tbc accy a 10 amp fuse in fuse panel inside the truck. a wire runs from there to a switch right next to the passenger airbag on off, then from there to the amp. i have been using this same fuse to power my gauges and radar detector. so anyway i was changing the switch (with the truck turned on but not cranked like a dumb ass) and the hot side of the wire touched something and sparked. i saw it and cut the key off as fast as i could. now when i turn the key on nothing will turn on, windows dont work, dash wont light up, wont even try to crank. but my aftermarket radio comes on and works and door speakers work. um any help would be awesome because no shop is open till tuesday since it is 4th of july weekend.
i checked every fuse i could, and tried charging the battery

so please help

Did you check your under hood fuses. Why isnt the amp turn on lead hooked up at remote wire at radio?

ok well i fixed it. thaank god. i had checked all the underhood fuses but had missed this one. after tracing though wiring diagrams which fuses it could be i replaced one that looked fine and the truck started back working. after looking closely i could still barely tell the fuse was blown.
and project the amp was hooked up way before the radio, and i never bothered changing it

It also could of had a defective fuse thats why it wasnt noticable. Glad you got it fixed on the cheap though.

o yeah. if i hadnt taken the time to really check it it still couldve been a few hundred dollars
