I have been finding the as I drive past or the inverse, other pickup trucks, semi-trucks or even cars. The roof of the truck sounds like Rolf Harris's wabble board!!! WTF!! Tapping on the roof the tin wabbles very easily. Is there a reinforcement that they made for the truck that one can get? If not I will have to make one because that noise will drive me nuts!!!!!! How could they designed something sooo badly!!!

It looks like someone has tried to or has removed the liner at some time before I got the truck! When I have time I should find out how to remove the liner and see what needs to be done there. It is a very annoying sound all of the time  now that it has warmed up. 40,000 something kms so far this year.

If the truck had hail damage, they could have replaced the roof and it's really not a GM issue. My 2001 had the roof replaced due hail damage.
Remove the liner and see what it looks like.
