Just thought I'd show you an update of where I am with my trac bar and cantilevered air bag set-up. I've got all the parts and finallized the design.

The lower bar is 1 1/2" DOM tubing with .120" wall thickness. The upper bar is 1 1/4" DOM tubing same thickness. Each side will be gusseted with 1/8" steel plate fully welded to both bars. The lower heim(Rod -end) is a chrome moly 2" piece with an axial load capacity over 45,000lb. A little over kill but it looks cool. All the hardware is grade 8, 9/16" or larger. Upper mount is a steel sleeved Urathane bushing.
Going to the River this weekend hope to build them next weekend. I'll post more pics as I go.
