I bought a Pro Comp 6 inch lift and when the lower rear crossmember is bolted to the differential the plate where the drivers half shaft rubs the frame. In order for everything to be lined up and clearing everything the hole need to be moved to the front of the vehicle 1/2 inch. Has anyone else every installed this kit on their truck?? If so have u had this problem?

I'm not a procomp fan but something doesn't sound right. I'd call procomp directly and see what they say. Sounds like you may have the wrong kit or at least the wrong bracket.

Just my $.02,

Chris

I got it fixed.. there was a miss print in my instructions, they had a lowering bracket for the passenger side upside down. And i drove it today and it drives just like when i bought it. I would recommend this kit to anyone b/c it rides good and don't push ur tires out like a fabtech

I have had my ProComp lift for close to 2 yrs now. No problems and like the ride. I also would agree about FabTech....tires push out further and buddies have remove their lifts for other problems they had with FabTech. Click on the link in my sig to see my mods w/ pics and here is my rig:
