I own a 2002 2500 HD Crew Cab Duramax Diesel w/ the ALLISON Transmission. I have a little over 50000 miles on it, and it has been a great truck, no problems at all. I am looking for a company or a manufacturer that makes a custom pipe to go in place of the muffler. Many manufacturers have these kits for the Dodge's and Ford's. I have yet to find one for my truck. Can anyone help. I'm not in the market to buy a new exhaust system due to lack of financial funds, if you know what I mean.

Thanks for the info, does it matter whether you get the 3.5 or 4.0 inch. I know the outside diameter of the pipe is 3.5?

They come expanded on the ends so a 3.5 will fit on yours. I had mine installed at a local muffler shop for $25.00. they welded it on. It does'nt make to much more noise. One thing you might want to think of, is if you have a cat you should check with the muffler shop to see if you are going to get hell with emissions when you test.
