Ive got an 01 dmax with the edge/attitude....i was thinking bout stacking with the hypertech...would this hurt a stock tranny or would i need to upgrade it???

Stock trans will only hold 100 HP in all gears over the long term with the EDGE Juice as it defuels between shifts in orded to save clutches and has a backdown when it senses trans slip. Flash programmers Pred/Quad/Bully have no trans slip protect in them so you can actually hurt your trans with those with less power. Careful GMC2500HD 07-13-2005, 02:29 PM No.. The allison is at the top of the HP limit that it will hold with the Edge.. I've also run the Edge in Lvl 5 of few times(stacked). I've yet to limp it, so far. The truck at the track actually runs slower on anything above Lvl 3 Edge and Hyper Lvl 3. I also have it on de-fuel too.
