I have a 05 GMC 135,000 and pick up a weeeeerrrring sound. It turned out to be the tire on the front driver's side thought that it might be a bearing but they are new 1.5 yrs. ago and are fine. It had bad cupping on the very inside of the tire and the other side did not? The tires only had 5,000 left on them if that. Do these trucks have a history of ball joint issues or due to the weight of the diesel engine do they require more frequent wheel alignment? I have never hit anything and I'm the only driver.

I have 70K + a few miles on mine. Got over 50K on first set of OEM tires. Second set is wearing very well and even. Front end has never had a alignment job and it handles so well I don't want anyone to touch it right now. You may have ball joint problems at your mileage.

You should definitely get the front end checked out. Could be a number of things at your milage if your front end has never been touched.
