Anybody ever put a master cylinder with a different bore size on their truck to jack up pressure at the wheels? Any other things that have worked well anyone has done?

Would tweeking the proportioning valve accomplish similar results?

Thought about it but haven't gone there yet with bigger master cyl, what improved for me was stainless flex lines to replace the stock rubber ones, carbon pads, & slotted/drilled rotors, and driving out the knock out slot in back of rear shoe plates, so I could adjust shoes without pulling drums, They are supposed to auto adjust, I've had limited success with that, when fixin to do a "big tow" I like to manually adjust them as well.

I did the stainless lines all around as well and I've also put slightly larger wheel cylinders in the back as suburbans my year had some proportioning issues. Here's the thing, I can't lock the fronts with the ABS disabled, so I know I am missing some braking power

While researching a rear disk brake system for my suburban I came across some NAPA master cylinder part numbers:

My wheel cylinders are 1 1/8" instead of 1 1/16" made a huge difference for the better. I got them from EGR brakes but they were a normal raymold? wheel cylinder when I got them. I saved the part # somewhere for when they eventually fail.

I heard the 3/4 ton front calipers will bolt onto a 1/2 ton but never tried it. It wouldn't be hard to do, and it will provide more clamping.

Even though the truck is a 1500 it is exactly the same as a 2500 so that won't help
