zipman5150 06-23-2010, 05:42 PM Well have put up with this long enough... The DIC has an auto Door lock feature. Great. I want to disavle the Auto door locks. There is no Disable feature. It will lock when i take it out of park or at 5mph and up. if i unlock at speed it will re lock the doors. I want to disable the Auto Door locks so the doors will not lock while driving. how can i do it but still maintain electric locks, the anti theft, and the FOB???? ID. so i turned the whole thing into a pdf and emailed it to him... he just replied. he said it requires a complete reprogram of the BCM. Considered a Customer Preferred option and the Stealer would charge $95.00.... WTH???? GM Disables certain features that are on the truck and then want to charge you to enable it?? Considering that it took less that 15 minutes to reprogram my truck, that's a pretty high labor rate! Just like people having to pay to get the TPMS changed - just so that they can run a safe tire pressure without the message...another 10 minute job! :rolleyes: Try to find another dealer to do it cheaper.
