This may be a redundant question, but my injectors are bad again and the dealer is trying to get a hold of GM to see if they can cover the injectors for the second time.
Has any one else had this happen or am I being screwed with?

What year truck? How many miles? If you are within the warranty special coverage, and they fail in the mode described in the TSB then they should warranty them untill you run out of time or mileage. However many times they fail within the warranty time/mileage limit.

It is a 2004 with 180000 miles on it. All the dealer has told me so far is that they want to check and makes sure it can be covered more than once and that it is injectors 1,2 and 8. I had the originals replaced at about 140k.

My truck got 8 done twice under the 7/200 policy [my truck is still under 150k today] but the last time they told me the regional rep told them they were now limiting the number of times you could have injectors replaced under the special policy, and my truck only got *one side* done. I felt that was wrong, but I literally have to have my truck that time of year, so I wasn't in a position to fight it.
Also, if the dealer installs the injectors you have a 12/12 warranty since it's a Gm part installed by a GM dealer, regardless of whether or not you're within warranty or not...at least that's what my dealer told me.

Thanks I'll have to keep this in mind. The first time that they did the injectors the monkey that put the valve covers back on over did it with the rtv and the driver side still leaked. I am hoping that this dealer has a better mechanic. Should know in a couple of days.

When I got my injectors done in Jan I was told the new ones are covered only by a 12 month/12000 mile warranty.
