How I did mine:

A full flash, is like a .cal flash but it does the operating system as well. Like from stock to dsp2 or dsp5. You'll need to do everything you do for the .cal flash, only now you hit full flash.

I just see that warning pop up about messing up the ecm and i wanted to be sure I didn't fry my ecm before I said ok. Didn't know if i had to pull the ecm.

Have you .cal flashed before?

ALWAYS DO A .CAL(calibration) FLASH BEFORE YOU DO A FULL FLASH. Even then my 1st time I hit the "TEST" option and ran it thru, then full flashed it.

Yeah i have cal flashed it before with no problems. Its my understanding to switch to dsp5 you have to full flash it. I will just test it and do it. thanks

Yes full flash for the dsp5 then the tune will be loaded at the same time, from then on only a .cal flash is required.

Just make sure to turn off all your accessories and make sure your batteries are juiced up well.
