Has anyone used the Mor/Ryde system for there truck? How does it compare to full air ride? I am wanting to try it on my F 550

Here is my opinion based on the following, 2 internationals eldorodo buses 3400's with air ride on the rear only. And our newest eldorado bus a chevy 5500 with the mor/ryde. I really don't like the air ride on the 2 3400's cause they really seem to lean too much around corners. The chevy leans more then the good old fashion standard leaf springs but the ride is good empty or loaded.

We also have 2 E450's also with the mor/ryde and they really don't seem to ride much different then our other E450's with the standard rear suspension. Those E450's are all 24 foot long bodys.

I sent both of you messages. I hope you get them. I'm a little techno challenged.
You say you couldn't tell a difference on the 450? That don't sound good. You sure it had Mor/Ryde?

Yes, our last 2 450's have the mor/ryde. And our chevy we just got has it too.
The mor/ryde do ride smooth loaded or empty.
(keep in mind these E450's have eldorado bus bodys with chair lift)(fiberglass bodys with steelcaging) So we do have more empty weight to begin with then you would with a F550.

Animal you let me know when you get your parts installed man I want to know if it was an easy installation or not. I was thinking of letting Mor/Ryde install mine for the truck and 5th wheel but I think my trailer will fall apart just driving to get it installed. Plus I might save a buck or two. Have you got your parts yet? I had some referals call me today. There is a full time camper that has a 550 to haul his Teton around all over the US and he loves his Mor/Ryde. He's had it for over 3 years now and a hell load of miles and has had no maintainence problems to speak of. He did say that when he first bought the Mor/Ryde he had heavier rubber in the RL and he drove to Mor/Ryde and they put the softer ones in for him at now cost. I think I'll try and get the softer ones myself.
