My 1994 4L80 has started weeping onto the crossover.. it is just enough to smell and I can see it just starting. It looks like it's coming out the inspection cover for the torque convertor. If this is something I can fix, I want to get to it before it becomes something major. If it's something I can't I need to go in search of a good transmission shop.
Thanks!

Its probably a front seal on your transmission. Not too hard of a job. If it is your front seal then you will have to pull your transmission--don't know if you've ever done that or not before but it's not really to bad of a job. I can't say its a front seal for sure but judging by your sympotoms im guessing that's what it is

I did my 94's front seal and it was easy, just time consuming. If you have access to a hoist it is a much more enjoyable job. :grd:
