Thinking about doing the Fast Idle setup on my 94. Looked at JK's site and instructions. Pretty simple, huh? Help me out with this . . .

Remove the center connector, by squeezing connector locks and pulling the pink 24 pin connector
Remove the lock for row A on top of the connector which corresponds to row B (A is the top row & B is the bottom row, the bottom row is on the flat side) unquote

Pink connector - got it.

Part 2 is what is confusing me. Am I still working on the pink connector? Or should I now be addressing one of the blue connectors? Anyone got a photo that makes this a little clearer?

Lastly - the wire that is run from the PCM goes to an 'ignition on' power source. Does it matter if the source is also 'on' in the accy position? I'm running out of 'ignition on' sources to piggy back off of. What amp rating would you fuse this at - 3a?

Hi,

On your first question once you pull the plug out of the back of the computer there will be two retainer clips that hold the wires in the plug. They should be marked a and b and if I remember correctly they will even have the wire numbers on them. You have to look real close because the numbers are molded in the plastic and therfore the same color. On your second quetion it doesn't matter where you get the possi from as long as it is on when the ignition is on. I tied mine into the back of my radio. I have had mine this way for over a year now with no prob.

Never checked current draw, but it shouldn't be much. It should just be giving the ECM an electronic "1" or "zero."

Are we still talking about the pink connector here ?

Sorry, got caught up with cooling mods tonight and didn't get a chance to pop the glove box out and clarifyfor myself.

Well When you figure it out please post some pictures and describe what you found and did so that others, like me, might follow along
