How does this look? Wasn't sure how the brushed aluminum would look with the chrome.

that looks good. I've been thinking about getting one of those grills, but everywhere I looked, they would only show the grills with the bow tie installed on it. Did you just put that over the exsisting grill?

Looks great! How are the tranny temps?

BTW, I love your choice in the HD logo :)

Looks way :cool2:
Where did you find it? It looks beefier than the stock grill! I would like to get rid of the plastic!

You can also get the big-mouth type grilles ...I got one, love it.

That's a cool new idea! The possibilities with that idea are endless!

Installed right over the existing grill....after taking off the GMC emblem and trimming up (cutting out) the GMC plastic backing. That part I was not aware of when I bought it. But, don't plan on taking it off so I just dremeled away. ):h

Putco makes them...got it from AutoAnything. Fits over stock grill with a couple of minor modifications.

With the big mouth grille and Mike L's cooler I am guessing my tranny temps are 20-30 degrees cooler. The big mouth does away with the cross section/bowtie and allows a lot more air hit the cooler. I really like the HD logo though! Note to self, <hide credit card>.

Nice ride! Funny, our bikes are almost the same color and paint scheme. Now if summer would arrive here in Oregon I'd actually ride mine!

That is exactly what I thought when I saw yours. Mine is candy brandywine with black ghost flames. The reaper has colorshift eyes. Can ride year round down here. ):h

I never understood why anybody would advertise a Bike company on a truck....should I put a huge Yamaha or Honda sticker on my truck?

I like the grille except the Harley part...but to each his own (seems I am alone on that one....).
