I have a 6 cd changer AM/FM XM radio that the changer is screwed up. I want to know if anyone has changed out the changer part of the radio and if the radio would need to be recoded after? I can get a radio with a working changer and worn buttons on ebay for a reasonable price.

ive changed guts on a 97 but i cant say on a 03 up
