I have a magnaflow down pipe back exhaust on my truck and i was wondering if i put diamond eye down pipe on it if ti would help egts or would it just change the sound. I don't experience real high egts, but they are about 850 cruising down the highway with a/c on. Just seeing if i can get them lower

That was the first thing I noticed, about 100° drop in EGT's when I installed the DP on my LBZ. Plus you'll gain hp by adding it, so it's the best of both worlds.

I do agree with Chad. It's about an 80-100 degree drop in EGTs during cruising and towing. The Diamond Eye Downpipe is a very nice upgrade to do to any truck. Let me know if I can help you out bud! I have these units in stock and ready to go.

I would recommend the DP. My truck has just stock tuning, but after installing a MBRP DP, BD Manifold, and 4" Corsa Exhaust there is a noticeable difference in not only the sound of the turbo spooling faster, but a much better throttle response. I drive the truck daily and I it was very noticeable to me.....My son borrowed the truck to pickup material at Lowe's and he came to me later and asked if I had a tuner installed. He said the truck now really pulls hard and has better throttle response....He also noticed a louder turbo sound which he liked...

Yes deeper exhaust note is VERY noticable. That one of the reason alot of people do it.

Yes, you will notice a drop in EGT's as well as a different exhaust note.

I guess it takes more than that for me to call it a big difference. You can definitely tell, but it isnt drastic in my book. Now, going from stock to straight piped 5", thats a BIG difference.
