i have just aquired a gmc 5500 to tow my mud truck with.
i am looking at buying a trailer,cant decide between a gooseneck and a pintle hitch.

my question,my truck has a dump bed on it that i am thinkin i could make removable sides and use a gooseneck trailer,if it doesnt make the
ball too high,and the trailer run at an angle.

any input?

with that set up, i would go with a pinlte hitch. they are easy and wouldnt require much modification

Go with a pintle it would require a lot less work and would allow for more adjustment of the trailer height
