 Anyone else have a problem with the @#%(%$&* panic button on the alarm? I set it off 5-6 times a week just walking around with the keys in my pocket or just setting my keys down. I only have 3 keys on the key ring. The panic button is raised up (same level as lock and unlock).:badidea:
The button gets pushed very easily. The only way to turn it off is to get into the truck and insert the key.

It happened twice very early one morning last week while camping. I am sure my neighbors weren't very happy!

I am considering disabling the button if I could find a way!

Take the transmitter apart and put a piece of tape over the contacts for the panic button. No more problems.

I thought if you pressed it again, it would shutoff . . .

My 22 mo. old daughter will grab my keys (or my wife's) and press the "pretty red button". Was actually changing the oil once when she got my wife's keys in the house.

No, it wasn't pretty. Suffice it to say I changed more than oil that day.

Thanks for the update!

CStone, I can't stop laughing! Did you smack your forehead on the underside of the tranny. I can just see it now, you have a "NOSILLA" stamped on your forehead! I am still laughing!
