Ok, got my tank today and working on plans to plumb it. I have 2 stock tanks, 25gal and 15gal. I wanted to pump into the larger tank only but will I have to pump into both tanks at the same time to keep my fuel gauge right in the truck? How does the Kodiak draw fuel from both tanks at the same time? If I let one tank go empty, will it suck air and mess up my fuel system? Not that big a deal to pump into both tanks, just wanted to keep it as simple as possible. Any suggestions? Thanks, John

On my truck i can fill up my front tank and leave the rear empty or reverse that and my gauge still reads however much total fuel is in the truck. Im really wanting to get something on my truck soon. Im thinking for my truck out west this next week putting a 55 gallon drum in the bed with a valve on the bottom and just pulling over when i need to fill up again. If transfer flow would come through it would be all good if not ill be selling this fall for a fl70 truck.

Thanks for the info. Just got an email today from GM Tech Center telling me the same thing. I got my transfer/toolbox tank from Northern Tool. It's a 60gal model made by RDS out of Florida. Tank was $549. Nice looking tank, diamond plate, with site guage inside the toolbox. Go to northerntool.com, click on transfer fuel and check them out. John
