: EDGE & Bullydog
Dmax05 07-12-2005, 12:31 AM Maby someone can answer my question...I am having trouble getting his answered.
Ok here goes, should I change my name to squat2pee?!? lol thats not it that was a joke!
I was woundering if I can piggy-back EDGE with the 150HP version of Bullydog or diablos version or any hand-help programer. (I am addicted to speed, if you cant tell!)
and of course I am going to do a tranny upgrade, probably ATS's stage III tranny 3. What are the pros and cons to this?
Thanks for you help all. :ro)

1 Yes
2 Yes
3 Pros: Cheap power and gecent adjustability
Cons: TTS Extreme Makes similar power with a stock turbo unless you start hittin the bottle or going with an aftermarket turbo setup
ratlover 07-12-2005, 09:55 AM Simmilar power? I dont think so juice;)
If I were to buy something to stack it would be the quad also......but I prefer to use the TTS. JMO
Dmax05 07-12-2005, 01:24 PM No, I am going to keep my stock turbo (atleast I am damn sure I will)
I am not sure if i am going to use any propane, nos, meth or water (most likly not)
So the tranny should hold?? (I plan on using bullydog on 150HP then adding EDGE to it when I race the big boys! Or visa-versa (sp)
Should be pretty quick huh?
thanks all
ratlover 07-12-2005, 01:55 PM TTS would be quicker but the above stack will work ok. The quadzilla seems to be a stronger stack than the bully dog also but still not as strong as the TTS.
Set it on one level and leave it there. a bunch of bouncing around of power levels plays hell with the TCM IMO.
Dmax05 07-12-2005, 04:19 PM Ok so thats about 270hp??? Or I found a turbo by B&M (i think) and its a 60psi turbo...heard anything?? Better yet what do you think i should do?
thanks
ratlover 07-12-2005, 04:25 PM see my sig ;)
TTS Xtreme and N2O should put you well into the 12's and maybe into the 11's. You need a trans and a liftpump set up and some suspention work.
Do some reading in the LB7 electronic section, the old P&P forum, the drag racing section, and the drug section(n2o pane and water meth) Lotsa reading and lotsa knowledge in there.
Dmax05 07-13-2005, 01:47 AM ok well thanks...can i message you if i have a few questions? (instead of making a new thread for no reason)
BullydogPowered 07-13-2005, 07:47 AM You can blow through the stock tranny with just the bully dog at 150. you HAVE to upgrade the tranny, might want to do that first. i can say that cuz i havent upgraded mine yet:badidea: and wish id done that before buying the programmers.
ratlover 07-13-2005, 09:34 AM Sure you can pm me. There are lots others that run the TTS and are happy, look in peoples sigs. ryanu, sp33d, mackin, moss022 ect. Theres TONs of guys. Or look for some guys with the quad juice stack in thier sigs and talk to them like tomac. Most of the guys that have the TTS had a quad at some point too;) A bit of advice on the TTS vrs whom ever debate, try to get down to comparing just the product ;) if you do a bit of reading you will see there are some personal issues there with some people.
The best bet would be to try to get a feel for each program/trans by taking a spin. Its not 100% apples to apples becasue a of differences in the rest of the set up but it may give you a bit of direction. Maybe make an event or try to find some local guys.
Dmax05 07-13-2005, 10:02 AM Thank you for all your help. I dont know to many people yet, So I would have to go to Subaru (local dealer for programers, upgrades...dont know why) will they let you try before you buy?
thanks again
ratlover 07-13-2005, 10:18 AM Go to a local diesel event or ask guys that are close to you(look in sig or in thier user location, a reason why filling it out makes things helpfull) that have mods you are interested in if you can meet up with them and see it in action.
Dmax05 07-14-2005, 12:37 PM good idea, I am planning on going to Diesel-fest I will check around and see who has what and how they like it...
thanks
